Testing Profile Interview Experiences

Hi guys, i would like to share my interview experiences on how i landed into my second job in chennai with SG
A week's time... Bunch of interviews....great experiences....and a route to my second job.
 
Basically I am a native of Vizag....Resigned my job in YLM & on notice period..
1)Used to receive multiples of calls, but never they processed because of my work location[Vizag]..HR's were not confident..If i process him, will he turn out to attend the interview..? This is the Q in their Mind.
2)Ok failed to convince once, twice...then started to explain them... there were no opportunities for further growth in vizag....etc. so i am willing to relocate...Finally i could convince & scheduled for an interview.
3)Its a First time visit to Chennai, all alone with no clue on the local language turned down to chennai with a narrow line of help...got that week stay from my school friend, which really helped me a lot. Attended the interview on Monday... cleared 2 rounds(tech written followed by Tech Manager).. commencing 2 rounds scheduled on Post wed afternoon 3 o'clk.
Wed morning one more interview was scheduled.. two round completed & results were yet to be declared(am OUT declared post interview).. told some story & came out for attending 3rd & 4th rounds with 1st company...president round cleared..4th HR round..played football with me with hell lot of Q's kicking in my court...could't convince him at all..finally result declared in the eve.. i am IN.
4)Planned to leave on Thursday evening...again an interview was scheduled for frid & sat..
5)Friday 1st round done...asked to attend manager round later...
it was a two panel interview.. one was most impressed & the other not..so asked to attend the manager round on Next Monday with bit of preparation.
6)Lastly on sat... Athena Health... 1st round was written apti & reasoning... cleared.. 2nd round mail drafting wrt to QA..done.. 3rd round application flow diag was given.. needed to write only neg test cases.. result awaiting[might be not cleared.. no response].
Finally what i had observed from this experience
1)what ever was in ur resume.. be prepared with every thing.. even the minute points....
2)For Manual Testing with <1.6 yrs -- SDLC, STLC, Defect life cycle, given a page write test cases & identify the most impacted case.Negative test cases mainly(very important), different types of testing...mainly diff bw end to end & sys testing, compatibility testing, globalization & localization testing, different SDLC models..
3)SQL queries upto Joins(very important to clear the interviews)
4)Bit of unix commands
5)and finally when they ask do u have any questions... don't say nothing... be prepared.. u need to spend at least 10 min in this conversation, which will show your interest level in their organization, job search & how well you were prepared.
